SuDS are more than functional drainage solutions; they are an opportunity to create multifunctional landscapes that benefit both people and the environment. Through thoughtful design, SuDS can transform spaces into vibrant, biodiverse habitats.

Our team were on the steering group for the CIRIA SuDS Manual and Blue Roof design Guide.

Our in-house Landscape team:

• Design SuDS that make open spaces multifunctional and resilient to climate extremes.
• Incorporate habitat creation and enhancement supporting the delivery of biodiversity net gain (BNG) and urban greening factor (UGF).
• Identify planting schemes that require low maintenance and manage rainfall runoff from adjacent surfaces.

We can produce photomontages and 3D visualisations to current industry standards, alongside maps, plans, sketches and other consultation material that can provide clear and concise support for planning applications, design development and stakeholder consultation.

The SuDS schemes that we have designed support urban renewal and have been used as flood mitigation for surface water flooding.
