The role:
Due to ongoing expanding workload in the UK and Ireland we are seeking applications to fill the role of Environmental Consultant in our hydrology and geo-environmental team for immediate commencement. The role would suit an experienced graduate or project consultant with existing site or consultancy experience.
The position is permanent and full time. The role will have the benefit of a hybrid working model and can be based either out of our head office in Mossley Mill (Belfast) or our office in the Waterside in Derry. Both offices offer well appointed spacious working conditions with easy access by public transport.

The candidate:
The successful individual(s) will have:
Essential Criteria
- A degree in engineering, environmental engineering, earth science, or relevant environmental discipline. Applicants should make clear in their application (including module marks) their particular strengths in hydrology / hydrogeology disciplines.
- Experience in a civil or environmental consultancy or site-based / fieldwork role.
- Experience of preparing scientific reports, drawings and figures to a high standard.
- Excellent verbal, technical report writing and presentation skills.
- A commitment to innovate, embrace challenges, and be proven team player with a positive “can do” attitude.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate:
- A relevant higher level (masters) degree with emphasis on water and geo-environmental related modules.
- Experience in preparation of technical reports to support planning applications / EIA.
- Experience in the onshore wind energy sector, preparation of EIAR chapters, Water Framework Directive Assessments
- Experience in the use of GIS (ArcGIS / QGIS / Mapinfo) or AutoCAD.
