Our approach to SuDS

McCloy Consulting provides an integrated design consultancy with acknowledged expertise in the design and implementation of sustainable drainage (SuDS).

Our objective is to take the lead in developing new ways of meeting the challenges of SuDS, using innovative technology, whilst retaining the environmental objectives of creating a more benign solution to stormwater management.

McCloy Consulting aim to provide cost effective and robust SuDS solutions, implementing source control through various SuDS techniques as appropriate, to mimic the natural hydrology and runoff from a site and to provide natural treatment to remove pollution, whilst simultaneously providing amenity and enhancing biodiversity.

SuDS can be applied on any site providing a variety of benefits. Our experience includes:

	Wind energy development in environmentally sensitive areas, where SuDS is utilised for construction runoff silt management and pollution control;
