Hydrology assessment
McCloy Consulting has extensive experience of hydrological site assessments for wind power and renewable energy developments, as well as hydrology input to drainage and flood risk assessments for private and public sector projects.
We regularly undertake to provide specialist hydrology input to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Statements (ES) required for major developments affected by hydrology and water quality issues.
Our typical hydrological assessment methodology will identify and evaluate the existing water environment, identifying any hydrological constraints on the proposed development and assessing the impact of the development on the water environment.
McCloy Consulting has also provided detailed hydrology input to detailed designs for river structures, advising on capacity requirements and design considerations for water crossings, bridges and culverts, and stream channel improvements. |
